3 Ways to Feel Less Stressed NOW!

It wouldn’t be a far stretch for me to say that chaos and uncertainty are a little TOO prevalent in all of our daily lives recently, am I right? The whole world seems a little more on edge and I bet we can all feel this in our own lives too. Finding real, tangible tips to help lessen the anxiety shouldn’t be a complicated task, to keep things simple, here are THREE ways you can immediately become grounded:

EFT Tapping - Tapping reduces stress and helps get negative emotions “unstuck”. Similar to acupuncture, tapping applies gentle pressure to the meridian points on the body. You start off by identifying the issue and proceed with tapping to release the emotions associated. p.s. Gratitude - Noting what you have to be grateful for right now really helps to shift the focus from the never ending spiral of negativity to a more optimistic path. You don’t even have to grab a pen and paper, you can silently remind yourself of the things in your life that bring you contentment.

Active meditation - Sometimes it's unrealistic to be able to close your eyes and experience a rush of calm. Sometimes combining a simple activity with a meditative practice can help us get out of our heads. Like a Candle Meditation, focusing your attention on the flicker of light emanating from a candle for a period of time, or Walking Meditation, walking along a path (maybe outside!) and focusing on the sensations in your body as you move.
