What REALLY Happens When You Find Food Freedom...

It’s been years, decades maybe since you’ve been free from your battles with food. After spending our whole lives in a cycle of dieting (and spending tons of money and time on programs and treatments that never worked) it can be hard to imagine how it would feel to be free of non-stop body and food thoughts. We can get comfortable with the uncomfortable place where we are and feel apprehensive towards change because we’re doing just fine… right? Or because it seems like nothing works so might as well try to accept it…can you relate?

Ask yourself this: how much time in the day do you spend thinking about food? Whether that’s what you ate for breakfast, what you’re going to eat later, or that birthday cake you had seconds of last week, you’re probably thinking about food a lot more than you realize. Imagine the mental space you would have if you could think about the things in your life really mattered, like your family, your friends, the activities you love, the places you’ve traveled to, and the experiences that light you up.

You might not realize that you could be putting your energy towards:

  • Engaging with people you love: like actually paying attention when you’re together and being present with them.

  • Finding new acts of self-care: because YES you do matter and YES you are deserving of self-care!

  • Enjoying the simple things: instead of being fixated on things that cause you stress (like food and body image), you’re able to enjoy the present moment even more.

And of course, doing all this while being able to eat what you want, without losing control, and even if you do…NOT feeling shame or guilt. Because those days are long gone! So what are you missing in your life right now?

Can you create some space in your mind to make room for what matters most? We only get one life, let’s make sure it’s filled with joy, expression, and love… not counting calories, grams of sugar, or hours of exercise.

You deserve SO much more than that!
